Ingredients for 4 Servings

  • 4
    instant oatmeal packages
  • 2
    apples cut into small chunks
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1
    water or milk for oatmeal (as directed)
  • 2 tbsp
    coconut oil or any other oil
  • opt
    spoonful of applesauce
  • opt
    garnishes: maple syrup, nuts, chia seeds

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add the chopped apples and saute for 2-3 minutes. Stir in cinnamon

  3. Make oatmeal by adding water or milk and following instructions on packet

  4. Optional: Add a spoonful of applesauce into the oatmeal mixture.

  5. Add apple mixture to oatmeal and garnish as desired.
