Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add the chopped apples and saute for 2-3 minutes. Stir in cinnamon
Make oatmeal by adding water or milk and following instructions on packet
Optional: Add a spoonful of applesauce into the oatmeal mixture.
Add apple mixture to oatmeal and garnish as desired.
