Preheat large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
Add oil to skillet. Cook chicken until lightly browned, about 5 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate.
Add onions and peppers to skillet, cooking until softened. Add garlic, and cook for 1 minute.
Add pasta sauce to skillet. Bring to a simmer, then add chicken, and cook until cooked through, about 15 minutes.
Cook pasta per package directions.
Serve chicken and sauce over pasta.
